Název anglicky / Title English: Electromagnetic processes at STAR experiment
Osnova / Outline:
Colliding heavy ion beams offer a wide variety of opportunities to probe elemental electromagnetic interactions of photons on another photons or on nuclei. The interactions take place at ultimate energies under a well defined experimental conditions.
The thesis will involve contribution to analysis of ultra-peripheral collisions, the means to achieve the experimental conditions for electromagnetic interactions. Emphasis is given to photonuclear
reactions, studied in coordination with dedicated working group within STAR experiment.
